Europejskie Centrum Badań Ustrojowych is an interdisciplinary unit operating within the Faculty of Law at the University of Łódź, established by Professor Kazimierz Ujazdowski. The Centre’s three main research areas are: comparative constitutionalism, challenges facing contemporary constitutional democracies, and the internationalisation of the constitutional and legal order of European states. Its core activities include initiating and participating in international research programmes, organising international seminars and academic conferences, and taking part in European grant competitions. ECBU cooperates with international research institutions.
